ARVAs Guard shovel is a straightforward take on the modern avalanche shovel. Its new compact blade was created to make it easy to step on and efficiently shovel, no matter the type of snow. The 76cm shaft provides great leverage for shoveling when time is of the essence. It may bail on fancy weight saving features found on other models, but its reliability and packability means it will comfortably find a home in the pack of many ski touring enthusiasts. Length ranges from 62cm to 72cm when deployed.
Oval aluminum T-grip shaft packs down to 35cm for easy stashing.
ARVA Pin Lock locking mechanism allows for quick assembly between blade and shaft.
New compact blade design – 28cm x 23cm x 2mm thickness.
